The installation was painless and very easy. However, once it was installed was when things went awry. from the moment that the key was turned on--the relay in the controller chattered away. It did what it was supposed to do--keeping the coolant cool and all that, but clickety clicked away. After about a week, the behavior became erratic and the controller would either turn the fan on forever (even if the vehicle was off and it was below 40 degrees outside) or it wouldn't come on. Thats when i pulled it out and chocked it up to being a defective unit. Since I still had the wiring all setup for that particular controller, I installed an identical unit. Then, pretty much the same story all over again. I checked my connections, checked the relay itself, even measured the voltage coming OUT of the unit. when the relay chattered, i read voltage approximately 2.5 or 3.5 vdc--when it should've been 12vdc. Needless to say, i'm ripping out this one and getting something different.

Received the harness quickly.There is no hardware kit.No metric reducing bushing adapter to fit radiator.Modified factory sensor by turning out all plastic internal part on a lathe.Drilled hole in old sensor and 1/4"tapped it for new sensor.I am told that Fastenol sells metric reducers.Wired it into the car per instructions and it works great-with A/C. I am very satisfied.

It is a premium adjustable fan control with push in probe that installs in the radiator fin section. It includes wire harness and air conditioning override relay. It is adjustable from 160 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit. It powers two fans up to 30 Amps.
